All-in Ministry Seminar

The Church as a School of Morality | Chase Kuhn

Morality is not an individual concern. While morality is real, and therefore universal, we are encultured people. The challenges we encounter are often common, even if personal. God gifts His people with the church for their moral formation.

Together in Christ God’s people are afforded the freedom to live in the light of the truth, in the power of the Spirit. Yet at the same time our togetherness of life enables and demands the cultivation of virtue. John made it plain: if we know the God who is love, we will love.

Our all-in seminar will unpack the reality and importance of our churches and ministries being places where our attitudes, behaviors and beliefs of what is right and wrong, what is permissible and beneficial, held as vice or virtue is formed.

Leadership Electives

Take a deeper dive it into key topics related to our leadership that will better equip, train and support us in the areas of our character, convictions and competencies. You can attend two out of the four electives across the conference and can pick on the day which one you would like to join.

  1. Holistic strategy: leading church as an organism – Mikey Lynch
  2. AI in ministry: philosophy, principles, and practices – Emma Wilkins and Paul Matthews

3. Reframing Mission: Intentional Rhythms for Everyday Disciples – Ben Johnson

4. Cultivating relational wisdom for healthy ministries Anthea Dallas and Luke Hansard

Ministry Pathways & Network Meetings (Optional)

A casual and dedicated time of meeting people in shared areas of ministry passion, discussing ideas, getting informed and exploring needs and opportunities for serving the kingdom in Tasmania and beyond.

1. Women in leadership

2. Ministry Traineeships (MTS)

3. Serving cross-cultures: Global Mission

4. The Ministry Engine Room: Admin and Operations

5. Leading new initiatives: Church Planting and Multiplication

One-to-One Ministry Conversations

Half an hour intentional chat with a ministry leader or peer

Unique to Challenge is the opportunity to sit down with someone outside of your circle to discuss ‘what serving the Lord in your life looks like’. The one-to-one ministry conversations are an informal but intentional chat designed for all ages and all stages.  They provide the chance to think about current and future ministry and how you can grow in your service to God.

Prayer Meeting

Prayer for the raising up and growing of leaders is an important part of our responsibility. We want to express our dependence on God for the multiplication of disciples in Tasmania and beyond. There will be a devoted time to pray for and reflect on our areas of service and ministry across our state.

Challenge Kids

Kinder – Grade 6 | Saturday 9th August only | Limited spaces

At Challenge, we’re passionate about helping young hearts, not just older ones, grow in active faith – faith marked by joyful service to King Jesus.
We’d love for your children to join us, as we work together to raise the next generation of gospel-hearted disciples – whether in everyday life or vocational ministry.

Challenge Kids is a full-day program packed with fun and faith-building activities: games, songs, Bible talks, small group discussions, craft, and even a movie. The program is led by trained and screened leaders from local churches, and coordinated by the Jono Thomas, Families Minister at Lindisfarne Anglican.

The program begins at 9.30am, with sign-in from 9.00am. Children will rejoin you at 5.15pm for the final session, so we can finish the conference day together.

Salt and Light Coffee

Coffee lovers we’ve got you covered!

Salt and Light Coffee will be serving on demand hot drinks you can purchase across the daytime period of the conference.
